World Asthma Day: Care for All

29 April 2023 - PRAISE-HK was invited to participate in the World Asthma Day Carnival organized by Hong Kong Asthma Society (HKAS) in Tsim Sha Tsui with the global theme of "Care for All". We had the privilege of meeting with Dr. LEE Ha-yun, Libby, JP, HKSAR Under Secretary for Health, Mr. Chan Wing Kai, Chairman of the HKAS, and various respiratory specialists. We also showcased our new app feature, which allows asthmatic patients to report their symptoms using the Asthma Control Test (ACT) for assessment. Learn more.

InnoEx 2023: Connecting the World with Innovations for Better Living

12-15 April 2023 - IENV was honored to be invited to showcase our smart-city clean air app, PRAISE-HK, at InnoEx 2023 under the theme of 'Connecting the World with Innovations for Better Living' which aligns with our vision. The event was overwhelming with large crowds, especially since it was reopening after the pandemic, and we are excited to have met many visitors and received numerous inquiries about potential collaborations. Latest scholarly article on marine emissions governance 

Driving evidence-based policy-making is the key to improving our environment and health. Our new scholarly article, "Multi-scale policy diffusion of marine emissions governance", has identified the variables driving China’s policy evolution on governing marine emissions, and highlighted the role of the GBA port cluster in bridging governance practices across different administrative levels. Read this insightful article and discover more about our work in the field of controlling marine emissions.

17 April 2023 - RTHK - Prof. Alexis Lau was featured on the RTHK podcast, Trash Talk, discussing the issue of transboundary air pollution in the region and how PRAISE-HK helps individuals protect their personal health by minimizing air pollution exposure. 

 

12 April 2023 - China Daily - Prof. Christine Loh provides her opinion on how Hong Kong can play a role in contributing to China's advanced manufacturing and circular economy policies.
